Purakaunui Kingfishers in Spring
Yesterday was the spring equinox so to celebrate the longer days we went out filming in Purakaunui.
I wanted to try capture some of the cheeky kingfishers/kΕtare that dart around the inlet. They were tricky to film and just as I'd set the camera up, a dart of blue would signal that they had flown off again.
Yellow-eyed penguins at Aramoana - Dunedin
Hiding in the rocks at Aramoana we captured two yellow-eyed penguins as they headed up the sand dunes to nest for the night. A lovely sight! π§π§π§π§π§π§π§π§π§π§

Dunedin Street Art 2019
Dunedin has some spectacular street art. Filming on the 16th of July 2019, I set about capturing some of the artwork around the city. I chose to shoot them as time-lapses and cut them together into a fun short video. I think that street art adds to the vibrancy of the city and I wonder what impact the art has on the people of Dunedin. Personally, I think that they are wonderful and I hope to see more works popping up around the city.

Lookout Point, Oamaru, New Zealand
Enjoy a peaceful minute of North Otago. Filming recently in Oamaru, I stopped at Lookout Point and took a moment to capture some footage looking out over the Harbour. Oamaru is a lovely spot and I really enjoyed filming high angle shots! 120 kilometres north of Dunedin, Oamaru is the largest town in North Otago and is known for its steampunk scene and Victorian Architecture.
