Yesterday was the spring equinox so to celebrate the longer days we went out filming in Purakaunui.
I wanted to try capture some of the cheeky kingfishers/kōtare that dart around the inlet. They were tricky to film and just as I'd set the camera up, a dart of blue would signal that they had flown off again.
